You need to supply
A room big enough for your party and a digital projector, screen. Allow at least 4 metres from the screen to the nearest table. If you want to add a practical session, please consider extra space may be needed for this.
How Guests Join In
A number of guests are given a card detailing what they have to say and do. Their responses are triggered by images appearing on the screen. Guests become the characters in the life of the artist.
Background
Our artist's lives are so unusual, entertaining and eccentric compared to what might be classed 'normal ', that even someone with no interest or knowledge of art will find them hugely entertaining. A Great Artist makes a brilliant guest for your birthday party, anniversary celebration or as a wonderful compliment for your special dinner party.
The Scenario
Imagine your birthday party meal is coming to an end and you and your guests are settling down to a glass of port or a coffee. Suddenly, an ‘uninvited guest’ bursts into the room and announces himself as one of the world’s great artists. From this moment your party is centred on the artist, who insists on re-enacting his life story. You and your guests soon become his eccentric friends and relations. Now the fun begins as you and your guests interact with the artist, the outcome is dramatic, exciting, poignant, sometimes very silly, but always very funny.
Points to Consider
- How many characters are there?
- There are around 18 character parts in every Party Artists party. If you have less guests, it is easy to double up - it only increases the fun
- How long does a Party Artists Party last?
- This depends on how interactive your guests are, usually it is around 90 minutes
- Start Time.
- Your great artist will need access to your party 45 minutes before your guests arrive to setup equipment. This is also an ideal time to discuss final details and the artist's entry time.
FREE Added Extra - Whether your party is a 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th or perhaps even greater birthday celebration we can make it even more special. Supply Party Artists with photographs of the history of the birthday girl or boy, and we shall create a short digital presentation. The presentation will to run continually until your great artist makes his appearance.
