Claude Monet Party Theme
Your great artist will arrive 45 minutes before the birthday party or anniversary celebration is due to start to set up equipment. Your great artist will arrange a time with you to make his entrance. If you find that you wish to change the entrance time after the party has started - this often happens - just call your great artist on his mobile and times can be changed.
The Party
After your great artist makes his entrance up to 18 people will be given cards detailing what they will say or do. Cards are triggered by images on the screen during the party.
You and your guests are soon involved as you become his eccentric friends and relations. The re-enactment of Claude Monet's life story takes approximately 90 minutes.

Claude Monet : Glorious Impressions
Monet will demonstrate how to draw and paint water lilies, water, flowers. Guests will use the little dabbed brushstrokes/marks of the Impressionists to create their own masterpieces at the speed that Monet worked. Wow!
Who is Claude Monet?
Above all else Monet was fascinated by the effects of light and the problems of trying to capture that on canvas. Married twice, he was always, until the last years of his life, quite poor, but very adept at borrowing money from friends and disappearing from houses without paying the rent. When he did become successful he bought a house at Giverney, near Paris and created his famous garden and lake, after diverting a river. Some of his water lilly paintings were so huge he had a special painting frame on wheels constructed so he could paint large sections of his 12' high pictures without having to come down to ground level. Monet was an entertaining character who through his paintings made Impressionism the most popular art movement of all time. To find out how he did that why not invite him to your birthday party or anniversary?
